I assist you with various legal processes involving the Spanish police and immigration offices, including obtaining your NIE Number, TIE Residency Card, EU Residency Registration, Invitation Letters, Visas, and more.
- TIE residency card
- NIE number
- EU citizenship card
NIE Number
The NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjero) is the first official document you’ll need when moving to Spain. It’s your personal identification number for all administrative tasks—essential for opening a bank account, buying property, registering a vehicle, signing contracts, and more. The NIE is a white document with a unique combination of 7 numbers and 2 letters assigned to you.
TIE Residency Card
The TIE (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) is the residency card for non-EU nationals. This photo ID allows you to legally reside—and in some cases, work—in Spain for a specific period, depending on your residency status. To apply, you’ll need to meet requirements related to income, health insurance, and more. I provide full guidance through the entire process, including renewals.
EU Residency Certificate
If you are an EU national and have been living in Spain for over 3 months, you are required to register as a resident. This results in a green residency certificate (without a photo). You must show proof of financial means, health coverage, and other requirements. I can guide you step-by-step to ensure a smooth registration.
DGT Services – Traffic and Vehicle Administration
As an official collaborator with the DGT (Dirección General de Tráfico), you don’t need to visit their office yourself. I handle the entire process on your behalf, often with same-day turnaround for your application.
- Driving Licence Exchange: If you’ve become a resident in Spain, you are required to exchange your foreign driving licence for a Spanish one. This process includes a basic medical examination to confirm you’re fit to drive under Spanish regulations. I’ll guide you through the entire procedure to ensure everything is completed smoothly.
- Vehicle Registration: Bringing your car to Spain? If you’re importing a vehicle and need to register it with Spanish number plates, I can manage the full process for you—making it simple, efficient, and stress-free.
- Ownership Transfer: Buying or selling a car in Spain involves an official change of ownership process that must be completed at the time of the transaction. I handle all the necessary paperwork to ensure the transfer is legally registered and properly documented.
- Traffic Fine Appeal: If you believe you’ve received a traffic fine in error, I can assist with filing an appeal to challenge the penalty. Whether it’s a mistaken charge or an unjust sanction, I help you present your case and potentially recover your money or reduce the fine.
